To Snuggle, or Not to Snuggle? 23 Animal Lovers Claim That Their Precious Pets Make the Perfect Bed Buddies

A hotly debated topic amongst pet owners is this classic, age-old question: to snuggle or not to snuggle? Do you share the bed with your doggo or kitty cat, or do you give them their own space to sleep? Pawsonally, we would let our dogs borrow our car if they needed it (and had a license), but that's just us. We also like to share spaghetti with them Lady & the Tramp style (we don't want to hear a peep out of you about this), but we know that we're a little extra when it comes to loving our puppers. However, not all pet owners feel the same way as we do.

There are a lot though, who do, and we've collected all of their answers on why it's better to let your pets sleep in the bed with you. Whether it's a 100 lb. German Shepard to a 7 lb. cat, we would happily have them sleep with us until the end of their days. They only get so much time on this Earth, and we want to enjoy every minute of it, even when we're sleeping. Do you agree? Scroll down to get convinced as to why you should.     If we came home to find our doggo like this every day, we would be a happy pawrent. Nothing brings us more joy than finding them sleeping and relaxed. It means we know we're doing a good job of making them feel safe and protected!

He considers this part of his job and stays there until he knows I'm asleep, then goes to his cat tree to keep watch. Sometimes if I wake up in the night he'll come back over and cuddle me back to sleep.

    Our dog will sleep at the foot of our bed, meaning that we never have cold toes at night. Sometimes they get too hot, so they go down to the floor for a cooler surface, but when we wake up they come back to snuggle with us. It's the best!

    boydbunny03 • 2mo ago . I was against it until my childhood dog was nearing the end and all I wanted was for her to cuddle with me as much as possible but she wouldn't stay on the bed. Now I just feel like we have so little time with them and I want them as close as possible, for as long as possible.

    agentaltf4 • 2mo ago • I am against, my wife is for so we have pets in the bed. We have a large bed so it is fine and we wash the sheets every 3 days. time is weird because they get kicked off and then watch us like a live action National Geographic.

    Against it? Nah. I have an extra blanket on the bed that gets washed more often, and he saint allowed in my sheets but, I legitimately get worried if my 6 year old dog isn't in the bed part of the night with me. I need to to feel his breathing and heartbeat so I know he's ok.also so if he has nightmares I can kiss him awake so he knows he's safe.
